Hey! Long time no see.
I haven't blogged since May... Yeah. I'm going to start blogging again. YAY!
You might be thinking, "Where did the blogs go?".
I deleted them. I saved them in a word file though, so it's okay.
Anyway.
It's September, and you all know what that means!
School.
As weird as it is, I'm sort of excited to go back to school. Maybe it has to do with this video which you should tottally watch right now.
This blog is really just going to be a collection of school-videos, isn't it...
If you're going into high school, watch this video!
If you're going into middle school, watch this video!
Also, if you're going into 6th grade (or your first year of Hogwarts or whatever,) I have some advice for you:
When I started middle school, I was sort of freaking out. I would constantly google "middle school survival" and things like that. I was really scared. I was scared about everything. The homework, the projects, and the fact that people might of changed over the summer.
Well... It turns out that what I was worried about wasn't much of a big deal. But middle school was kind of horrible anyway... I can't go back in time to restart 6th grade and know what I know now about it. But you? You can go into middle school with this advice. So here it is.
1. There is nothing wrong with going to the nurse or a teacher or someone is something is bothering you.
2. What you're worring about right now? It's probably not a big deal.
3.Do your homework. And listen in class.
4. As Elmify said, if you watched the video, everyone feels awkward and uncomfterble, meaning it's important to be nice to everyone. EVERYONE. You don't have to be best friends with them, just be NICE. Try to avoid hating people. On a similar note, don't assume things about people. Also, respect people.
5.Use your words.
6. Try to take any oppertunities for adventures.
7.Try to talk to an older kid in the middle school, so you know what to expect about school.
8. Be yourself! Don't act like you like something you don't actually like! If you like to, I don't know, knit, or make Youtube videos, or wear weird clothes, but other people think it's not cool, do it anyway! Who cares what people think? Just make sure you're still being nice to people.
9. Try to be honest.
10. Clean your backpack out. So you don't end up with this really bad smell in your locker... Also, don't use your agenda as a diary, or bring a diary to school.
11.If you don't have a lot of friends, try being nice to everyone, and being yourself. Finding some group and clinging on to them isn't really a good way to make friends.
12.Remember that it gets better, and one day you'll be in 7th grade, which is really fun.
DFTBA!
